As of 2.30am last night/this morning, following a 6-hour Eastern Plaguelands grinding session with Thrage (he hit 60 at the same time). And it only took me 25 days of playing time, too.

What do I do now with Ruzska? Sit in Razor Hill all day and tell fortunes to noobs, of course! And, uh, do it all over again... and again... and again... with all those other alts you see up there. Of course I could be all "ENDGAME!" and "EPIC SHAMAN SET!" but frankly I don't care that much to wear coathangers on my shoulders.
I especially liked the ending credits and the ending cinematic. *wink*

I'm not dead; just busy RPing in game. The past few weeks have been wonderful!
All Shadow Councilors are welcome to attend the Laughing Zhevra Nightclub in Ratchet, the Barrens every Thursday night at 7pm server time. Madam Ruzska and other followers of the Path tend bar and many come to entertain, dance, drink, chat, and have some friendly matches with the large number of Alliance who always show up.
In other news I'm working my way slowly through BRD. We got Thrage his Barman Shanker and got as far as the Lycaeum; next I want to take on the Emperor and get his axe! Muwahahaha!
Also, the AD tribunal has started, but we have to postpone the second half, where Thrage and Undina get to ask the questions, for another night.

The outstanding follow-up to April's Spring Festival... the Summer Beach Party!
( pictures galore. )
We will now be returning to your regularly scheduled Undead angst and anguish.

It all started when Mahur wanted to tame an owl as a pet. He's a young hunter, easily excited, and the thought of an elegant owl was too wonderful! So we agreed to escort him up into the new World Tree, and even decided to make an open outing of it to all interested parties. Little did we know what chaos the elves would have in store for us.
We started our journey in the Crossroads, and quickly made our way through Ashenvale to the shores of the lake around Astranaar.

They saw us approaching on horseback long before we reached Goldshire. We slipped into the shadows and hoped that if a search was called out, it would be abandoned quickly. We reached our home, north of town, and headed up the stairs, relieved to find it devoid of cults and other distractions. But until we were sure they'd stopped looking for us, we stuck to the shadows.
Finally we relaxed and stepped into the light, warming ourselves by the fire in the room. But no sooner had we done so than we heard footsteps on the staircase. The eerie red eyes burned from beneath their hood in the doorframe.
Simayi.

The dead keep no secrets. Everything I've tried to hide since first I broke free from the Scourge is now such widespread knowledge that it's no use trying to be discreet. I can't go to Brill without being recognized as that rotten ex-whore, the one who cavorts with the musician, and isn't it really a pity about that whole Cold business, but who's to blame him for slaughtering humans anyway? As if the Cold is just a shallow scar that will heal and fade. As if the Cold is his problem alone, and no one else's. ...As if the Cold will never awaken in us all.
I can remember laughing at freshly risen when they spoke of wanting to regain their humanity. Why give up this second chance at life, this near-immortality? But if the Plague keeps us alive, then the Cold--the loss of one's senses as the mindlessness we had in the Scourge returns--is inescapable. The only cure, then, would be death.
Or life...?
Ever since the human Simayi met with me in the Twilight Grove, casting that terrible spell of temporary undeath on himself, warning me of what Thrage had become, we've searched relentlessly for a cure. It was painful to force Thrage to admit to himself what he was doing in the Shires. He thought they were just horrible dreams. But when he conceded that it was the Cold, we both knew a cure had to be found, and quickly. Simayi agreed to search for one. The priestess Elie agreed to help us, though I sensed she disliked me when we met with her. Suddenly all the Horde seemed to know about Thrage's condition, about the infamous Ripper of the Shires. We received strange potions in the mail. A very strange Forsaken arcanist asked for a sample of Thrage's flesh so that he might perform his own tests on it. (( http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-realm-shadowcouncil&t=37938 )) With so many on our side, we thought that surely something could be found, and we could return to our happy unlife...
After he proposed to me, Thrage went on a week's journey before the wedding in search of a cure once more. He had been doing much better, but it was too dangerous to assume that the Cold had simply left on its own. When the letters from my informants claimed that the Ripper had been sighted in Goldshire once more, I burned them. Denial? Fear? Blinded by love? I care not. I knew, deep down, that he was searching. I devoted my time to taking care of wedding preparations with the crazy troll friend of Thrage's who was planning it for us, and training myself further so that I might be able to ride a horse without falling off it every few steps. It took a lot of practice and a lot of time spent popping various bones back into place, but the stablemaster in Brill finally certified me just hours before the wedding, and let me purchase a skeletal horse of my own.

(( Simayi's take can be found here. I'll post Part 2: Confrontation shortly. ))

I can't possibly write up everything about the wedding tonight, but I want to at least get the thank-yous and so on out of the way. Of course to Thrage for starting this whole crazy, wonderful storyline; to Simayi for becoming such a wonderful foil for it by total happenstance (and I really love the way how we're all bad guys, and good guys, in it); to Vexxa, Maeryn, Crimonia, and Tajiri for being in the wedding party; to everyone who tried to keep the cross-faction fighting to a minimum (at least... at the beginning of the ceremony, muwahaha), especially Mahley and Andariel; and to all the wonderful friends on Shadow Council both new and old who attended and gave an insane amount of time and awesome gifts to us.
Firstly--Undina did make it to 40 just in time for the wedding, so she is now a proud rider of a zombie horsie.
( Zombie horsie and wedding attire )
But my very favorite, looking very coy for the camera; somehow makes it much more lifelike (for an undead):

A detailed account of the wedding and its aftermath to follow, but I'm exhausted from grinding Stranglethorn apes for three levels so I could get 40, and Ruzska has a guild to attend to, so stay tuned...

Do you walk the Eternal Path?
Thrage and Undina's wedding is tomorrow evening. Should be exciting no matter the outcome of the possible disasters/interruptions/outbursts/etc. that may have spawned from the storyline... I can't wait. Unfortunately, I've been so busy grinding Undina to 40 so she can ride her zombie horsie that I've barely had time to much RPing beyond Ruzska's new guild. Ruzska is running a Spirit Shop (tailored goods, fortune tellings, matchmaking, and events planning) in Orgrimmar now, though, so there should be some fun times spawning from that.
I have a wonderful new new computer that will just have to be seen to believed. I'm sure I'll have plenty of screenshots (and footage) from tomorrow with which to show it off!

We are delighted to announce the upcoming marriage of
Undina to Thrage Rivenbar (both of Lordaeron)
on the thirteenth day of the seventh month at six o'clock world-time in the evening at a location to be disclosed to the relevant parties.
Reception to follow.
Well-wishes can be sent to the happy couple directly or through Anmorata, Paladin of the Alliance.
( The Search for a Solution )
Yes, he finally went out, farmed the Scarlet Monastery, soloed the Cathedral, made about 80g, and got the ring. It'll also be nice to actually plan one of my character's weddings in advance instead of randomly running up to the altar at the Spring Festival like Ruzska did, whoops! And now it's time to move on to where this storyline begins to get even more interesting. We have so many great things planned for it, and so many wonderful roleplayers both Alliance and Horde involved, that I can't wait!

Ruzska has started a new guild, Eternal Path, dedicated to the promotion of roleplay across the board. And, of course, partying. Mostly though it's relevant to her current storyline of voodoo zombie-ness.
Undina just got proposed to by Thrage, whoo! Time to plan a wedding. With luck he'll go rip some more Shires, and we can have bounty hunters crash our wedding and I can do the awesome Undead female unarmed combat in a wedding dress.
I have a new computer of awesome, but I'm going to send it back and get a new new computer of awesome with an even higher screen resolution. The wide-screen 1440 x 900 is awesome for WoW... but I really want the 1900 x 1200.
Thrage and Undina stumbled across a most perplexing cult in their home in Elwynn the other day...

Haven't been posting lately mostly because I haven't been taking any screenshots. This is because I've had to turn the settings down to the lowest possible settings to deal with the absolutely abhorrent internet connection I have at the place I'm living for the summer... it's cable, but it's absolutely terrible. So, I don't want to see my crap-resolution screenshots, so I'm guessing neither do you. :) The good news, though, is that I'm getting a new computer in two weeks, one which can actually handle the game!
I made a Human Mage, Musetta, on Mal'Ganis, the PvP server where I first started out with Catriona under Roane's account. I'm now in CoL there, the guild that Roane joined a few months back and has been steadily working on high-end content with. Their awesomeness can be summarized by the fact that their tabard has a giant red lobster on it. Squee!
Ruzska is now guildless as part of the shifting storyline, both her own and the main one happening within Voodoo Reborn. I'll post the stories related to that storyline later, but for now we have the continuation of the Forsaken draaama:
( Undina: The End of the Line. )
( Simayi: Brush with Undeath )
( Sowelu: Struck by the Ripper )

My crafts project for the weekend!
All right, so it took up way too much of my evening, but it was a good way to pass the time while Sae hogged my computer to go to SM. :P I could NOT find a decent red shirt anywhere, so I had to buy a pink one with lace trim and dye it red, and then I painted the logo on by hand with fabric paints.

So who says women of the Horde aren't in touch with their feminine side?
total cost: $26 -shirt from Target -two black and one brown tube of fabric paint (way more than was needed) from Michael's -one packet of red fabric dye from Michael's -fabric paint brush from Michael's
Oh, and yes, I really do have troll tusks; I just digitally edited them out.

I've been away from the game a lot, but then I've been doing a lot with the game when I can. Ruzska finally joined the new guild, Voodoo Reborn, but I haven't been spending much time on her (she's only up to 45 now) for a number of reasons. One of the better reasons being the completely AWESOME storyline currently being crafted with Undina, Thrage, and several other great RPers on Shadow Council both Horde and Alliance. It's mostly been summarized on the forums, but as posts tend to disappear quickly off the realm forums these days, I'm going to archive it all here for safekeeping and your reading enjoyment (hopefully). Posts are the property of their creators; the only ones belonging to me being those by Undina and Anmorata (my silly little overly naive paladin girl).
( Thrage: Thoughts on a New Plague )

( Anmorata: Thrage, Murderer of Innocents? )
( Thrage: The Night of the Creeping Death )
( Simayi: The Darkshire Ripper )
( Thrage: The Source of the Icy Grip )
( Undina: Fear )
Undead drama is the bestest.

From the private journal of a Miss Undina sans last name, formerly of Lordaeron, currently of Brill.
"Don't get me wrong, darlings, I still love my dear Lordaeron to death and--ruins or no--enjoy living near it in the Forsaken settlement of Brill. But sometimes all the distraught freshly risen and the rot-brains running around the town can bring even this lady down, so when my love Thrage mentioned a possible adventure wiping out thieving little twits in Westfall I was just dying to go along. We joined up with our dear friend Kalahan and proceeded to make quick work of the Defias mines in Moonbrook. Certainly there were a few mishaps along the way, and I even forgot myself and tasted human flesh again out of weakness and desperation, but ultimately we were victorious in slaying Van Cleef, who if you ask me was just a bit full of himself.

I know I've been quiet lately, and it's for many reasons. I was frantically working my way towards level 40 and my raptor, which I both got, and I now have a beautiful violet raptor named Baron Samedi who snarls menacingly and clicks his toenails on the ground. Da Good Mojo split in two, I'm sorry to say, and I'm leading what remains of it while Ruzska's husband Mahley has formed a new guild. We're doing our best to keep ties between the two strong, but I'm very sorry it had to happen this way. I was far more upset than I expected to be about it, and therefore took some time away from the game. Also, the past week has been one of considerable real-life obligations, with more on the horizon, which also kept me away but I've got a little break for now.
Thrage and I have been playing Capture the Flag at the Barrens Battlegrounds on the PvE Test Realm, and it is FANTASTIC. It's like Halo, but awesome (and no rocket launcher gankers either). Unfortunately, at 41 I'm the very lowest level in the 41-50 bracket, so I take on the meat shield role that is akin to the Secret Service agent throwing herself in front of the bullet aimed at the president (the president being the flag carrier). Amazingly, it works, and I've definitely got to work my way into the upper 40s for when the patch comes out.
Other excitement: planning is underway for a summer beach party. Yes, partying is just the thing to lift the spirits of the downtrodden Mojo, and we already have some wonderful events, both public and surprise, that will transpire. I can't wait!

The World of Warcraft was extremely kind to Ruzska on my birthday yesterday! I started off with a Scarlet Monastery run with Sae, warnthepenguins, and two guild members, and while I didn't get the Staff of Awesome from Doan, Whitemane gave me the amazing Hand of Righteousness, which is just as good, I think, and will let me get back to the bashy-bashying that I so love to do. Then, while killing Bloodsail Buccaneers with a group later, I rolled a 100 on a random world drop of Underworld Band, Ruzska's first purple item!
Gruunk presented me with a lovely Orc Loincloth and matching shirt so I can be as sexy as he, and Mahley got me an awesome enchanting formula and a bouquet of white roses (which can only be acquired in Stormwind, heh heh heh...). A couple of other guildies sent me hats and fun things to explode, and then I had a good time drinking it up later in Booty Bay with friends both Horde and Alliance alike.
Undina didn't have quite such a good time on her birthday; she just got killed by quillboars a lot. Looks like she'll be 18 for a while yet.
And then, the night before was the first-ever practice game of Gruunk's insidious creation, Drunken Fishball! We took over the Gurubashi Arena and ran around beating people with fishing poles.
 ( A few more from Fishball )
Unfortunately, people started showing up for the scheduled chest drop, so we had to put Fishball on hold to contend with bloodthirsty Horde and Alliance alike. But somehow, SOMEhow, I was first to the chest without taking a single hit, and opened it up immediately to win the Arena Master trinket and a sexy shield that'll go well with my new mace.
Now I'm afraid I won't be around for a few days as I contend with my remaining two finals... but then I will be free to hit 40 and get my raptor and party all night long!

The Spring Festival movie is complete!
In order to view it, you will have to right-click on the link below, save the file to your hard drive, and view it from there. Campus got mad at me last time I had people streaming a video, muwahaha.
Spring Festival!
What you're seeing: -Dancing -Tajiri's and Magishala's wedding -Dancing -Ruzska's Springtime Invocation -Mount race -Thrage's musical performance -Ruzska and Mahley's wedding, with fireworks -The Dating Game starring Andariel -More Dancing
I left most of the filming to Sae, as I was busy running the event. He did a pretty good job!

This is quite possibly the greatest thing I have ever done on the inter nets, EVER.
Words cannot convey how pleased I am with the turnout and conduct at the festival this evening! My best estimate is that we had over 110 Horde and 40 Alliance members in attendance at the peak of it all, and while we sadly didn't crash the server *grin*, we did more than enough to annoy all the silly people trying to do quests.
 ( We've only just begun... )
( And some awesome screenshots other people took... )
( ...And Ruzska's Spring Invocation to the Spirits. )
All in all... I have to say that this was the best time I've had on the Internet, EVER. :) Thank you to EVERYONE who showed up, and especially thanks to Gruunk, Kavingi, Thrage, Andariel, Nakani, Mahley, Jebedia, Vashe, and everyone else who helped out in the organization and execution of this wonderful, wonderful time. I even got my sweetie Sae to come, though I mostly made him camera boy again. I swear I'll make him roleplay someday. THANK YOU!
As you all might suspect, I will be producing a video of the festival within the next few days, so stay tuned...

I had to take a break from WoW to catch up with (an obscene amount of) schoolwork, but classes are done and I don't have finals till next week, so I'm ready to grind Ruzska up to 40 (37 right now), and most of all, I'm excited about the Spring Festival tomorrow!
Other than that, I have nothing exciting to tell except that the Honor System continues to bring widespread dishonor to the lands, and ( a couple of silly screenshots: )
I want my raptor!!!
